Mom's New Favourite Shop on Earth

Hey pups! On Friday Mom discovered a new pet store in our town and went to check it out. It was so awesome that she went there again on Saturday (day of Peaslake hike) and bought me some new stuff. Before I show you what the stuffs are, I'll tell you why the store is so awesome. They stock very good quality dog foods that no other shop in the area has such as Orijen, Lily's Kitchen, Acana and other really good brands. They have a huge selection of toys and treats- also good brands. However, they are very expensive a tube of Thrive treats in a shop 10 minutes walk away costs £1.85 and there it cost £3.79. So the stuff the nearer one sells we'll buy there and the rest over in town. Now, the part you've all been waiting for...what did we buy!

Our Loot

First up is the Arden Grange Liver Paste. Now, I've only had a couple of drops but I can already tell this is going to me a high value treat. I love this thing! It's smelly, it's got good ingredients, it's yummy- what elese can you want?
Arden Grange Liver Paste

What it looks like

Second is natures:menu. These are mini sausages made of chicken and pork. They smell too but aren't was good as the paste.

I didn't get a front up but these are Hi Life dog treats chicken and ham flavour- I was least enthusiastic about these but they are still good.

The last treat is Perrito Chicken and Duck Chips. Mom didn't take a front photo of this one so:

I do not own this photo!
I don't like that is has to be kept in a fridge but still!

They were yummy!

After the trip to the shop Mom made a quick appearance in TK Maxx's pet section to buy me a toy she has had an eye on and of course she was tempted to get an extra one. These are going to be my reward-during-training toys, so they're special!

Mr. Rainbow Man

Or Mr. Monkey Man? Which is better?

And a regular tug toy but the colours are cool right?

Did you get any new nosh or new toys? I hope so cos they are plenty fun!

Not Really a Wordless Wednesday

Hey pups! Everyone is allowed a Wordless Wednesday when they do say something- and in my case that day is today. Instead of doing two walks Mom smooshed up my afternoon and evening walk because she had to go into town to some stuffs and was late back. We left at around quarter to six and came home at like quarter past eight. Now, this was only supposed to me an hour walk to the golf-course, play a little fetch and come home. Why wasn't it? Because Mom had the smashing idea of playing a training attention game with me. I loved it. It involved Mom running away and me getting a click and treat after following her. At the beginning I would just run up to Mom, get the treat and continue on my way. Towards the end, I would stay with Mom for around 10 steps before running off!!! That is progress for me as I am easily distracted. I've been talking for long enough:

These two dogs barked at us as we left!

Windmill Walk

Hey pups! On Sunday we packed ourselves and some food into the car and headed off for a long hike to a windmill that we had seen on a previous walk. I was terrible in the car, which sparked Mom's desire to work with me on car behaviour- might even do a post about it. When we finally got there the weather was nice and the sun was shining. We headed off on the blue trail with plans to split off and follow the green one for the rest. We walked and walked,, played some fetch, rested, the humans (Middle Guy and Big Guy also came) ate some sweeties and generally had a great time.

Da forest!

Fetch with my favourite toy on Earth - the flying ring!

Where's the little cutie?

There she is!

Taking a rest in the shady ferns

One of the many beautiful views

Hiking- don't you just love it?

A-m-a-z-i-n-g!

Believe it or not the at the windmill- which turned out to be someone's home- you could see the English Channel

The Windmill- picture from Google Images

And the ball returns!

Flash nap!

On the way home in the car- I was much quieter!

Do you guys love to hike? Or is gentle exercise more your style?

Water Baby

Hey pups!  If any of you follow me on Instagram then you should know that we had a big trip today; we went to the beach! Again.  But this time it was way better because it was a sandy beach not a rocky one like in Portsmouth. It's called West Wittering Beach, the sand felt so good under my paws and I thought I could run for ever. When we arrived, the humans ( again Big Guy and Middle Guy came along) dumped the stuff and headed off to the water. At first Middle Guy stayed by the stuff,  Mom was in the water and Big Guy was throwing me the disc. Then Mom came out and walked along with us. Then Middle Guy joined us. We strolled and fetched ( it was mostly me). However,  there is some BIG NEWS! I swam for the first time in my life. Twice. I was a bit unsure for 10 minutes before getting back to my normal self.  We then got back to 'camp' and it all got boring.  The Guys lay down as did Mom. I was still full of energy ( Dina Mom : Don't ask me how!) and couldn't settle. We stayed there for about an hourbefore packing up and heading home. I was calm for most of the ride up we did have a couple bumps along the way.   Mom didn't take the camera, she is so stoopid, so we don't have good shots of water action just of the boring lying down.

Do you like the sea?  Or do you prefer calmer places to swim?
