Ace Tales: A Pawsome Plan

Hey pups! I'm back and hopefully for good. Recently I was asked by a member of the Bugbyte team to mention their campaign/idea/game on my blog. I had a snoop around their website, looked at their resources and read their Facebook page. Here is a snippet off their website:

Bugbyte started in March 2012, consisting of two brothers with a passion and joy for gaming. We love games and have been playing games since early childhood. We also love animals and especially dogs. That's why we decided to combine the two!
Ace Tales is a game meant to support dog shelters all over the world. This game will be free to play with in-app purchases and advertisement, helping create real life value to homeless dogs. We here at Bugbyte have a vision to unite gaming and helping, by making revolutionary mobile games.

The founders had a dog named, Pikko in their childhood that sparked their love for man's best friend. They want to give back and help animal-shelters. As the game will be free they get their money from sponsors, advert on the game (in the form of props in the game) and additions players buy. Their campaign site can be found here. They also have Facebook (who doesn't these days?!?!) and Twitter

Please do check them out as there is plenty of great information on there. Also, if you're not the reading type there are two videos explaining everything.

Bear with us guys!

Hey pup! Our postes may become a bit less frequent as Mom settles back into school life -ugh! I know, it sucks!- and the new routine she has set up for us. We will try to read your blogs but we might comment a little less. Hang around for the posts that will be happening!

I'm Too Young to be One!

Hey pups! Yes, yes, yes! It is my birthday today. The grand day: 7th September. That's when I cam into this world. I am officially one year old. Mom can't call me her baby any more (Dina Mom: Yes I can!). What did we do to celebrate? Well, Mom was originally planning to go on a long, long walk with me but the weather stopped us and Mom's leg started hurting. Instead, Mom decided to go crazy and bake me something from one of the doggie recipe book Mom got for her birthday back in February. I'll let the photos take it away:

Are we gonna be cooking, Mommy?

I got to pick the recipe

Let's try the next page!

What we settled on

The raw ingredients

All mixed

I did not leave Mom's side at all

Ready to pop in the oven

All done!

Why?!?!?!?! And I only got one as well

Omnomnom

They were delish!
We have some leftovers in the freezer which Mom will use for training- these are crackiest crack value, I will die for these. I've already ordered something else for my Gotcha Day in October, too. What have your pawrents made for you recently?

FitDog Friday + Geocaching = Very Fun Day

Hey pups! That's right! Today I'm rolling two into one and talking about yesterday's geocaching adventure. I will say straight away: it was the funnest geocaching expedition yet! Mom has got the app (c:geo), so it was far easier. Well, once Mom got the app working cos before that....let's just say she was ready to throw her phone against a wall.
The app was cool once it started working.
We walked to our nearby common (there is a mini series of caches that we are finding) and had a walk before turning to the app to help us find the cache. We realise now that we were were searching from the wrong side before, so this time we went from the woody side instead of from the field side of the fence. And what do you know? We found it! Well, Mom found it, I was just sniffing around and exploring. I'm not much of a caching dog. Mom spent quite a bit of time looking around but the app's maps and compass really helped even if they did not pin-point the position of the cache. Mom says that she would have given up earlier if I had to have been on leash as I hate waiting and whine if we stop for a long time. It was a shame that there was only the equipment to find the original cache and not the actual thing but there was a log book there to sign too!

See the cache by my neck, that is the closest I got to it.

Time for some photos from the actual walking.

Nearby town from a hill

Mom used to love playing here as a little kid

I got a bad case of zoomies

Getting a bit tired!

Don't try to be arty farty.

I told you to stop!

Serious face

Happy face

I'm-a-terrier-and-I-just-saw-a-small-animal face

We found some fallen logs/trees

I was first in to explore them

Atop the log

We have been getting pretty sunsets lately

What did you do for this FitDog Friday?
