Geocaching in the Heat

Hey pups! A Thursday means geocaching so without further ado:

Today we decided to go for a little much longer walk so our regular cache series wouldn't cut it, so Mom had a look at the Geocaching website and found a fun sounding church micro cache. For those outside of the geocaching world -which is probably most- there are different sizes from XL to Micro. The Church Micros are a series with thousands of caches all around the world. This one was sounding particularly barktastic as there were micro certificates and a micro church model you could collect. We set off at probably the worst time (darn you Mom!) as the weather and temperature were reaching its peak. England is experiencing a heatwave at the moment for the temperature was pretty hot- at least for us, we're not used to much higher than 21 degrees Celsius. So we stuck to the shade as much as possible and had plenty of water breaks. The church itself was very beautiful:

We went looking for the geocache and looked for a solid 10 minutes but we didn't find anything. *Sad puppy!* But the graveyard in which it was supposed to be hidden was very peaceful and it was very sad to see all the children's graves by the wall. However, it was still a fun day out and boy was I knackered!

A couple of words to explain these next few photos. On our way back, we stopped off for a break in a areas that was littered with pine cones. To say that I loved them would be an understatement, yet for some unknown reason Mom did not allow me pursue my dreams of becoming a professional pine cone chewer and every time she took one away from me and minor spazzy attack would occur:
