- Get regular walks three times a day, morning - an hour, afternoon- an hour or 2 hours and evening 45 min to an hour.
- Hike 1-2 times a week. We want to make Sunday hikes a regular things and when the days get longer an afternoon hike on Fridays. Naturally, more will be in order during holidays and various breaks.
- Introduce some sort of exercises. Don't know what yet but we'll figure it and probably pay a visit to SlimDoggy to inspire us. I'm thinking some strength exercises but who knows.....
Those are our fitness aims.
Links and Wags,
Those are some good resolutions. Hopefully you'll have fun as well as staying fit.

Wow Dina that is going to be a fit 2014 for you and your mum. Have a super Saturday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
You sure sound committed!
ReplyDeleteOne thing you might want to do is learn a few 'go to' shorter workouts that you can do when you are pressed for time. This way, you can keep on course and not feel bad if time pressures cut into your longer sessions.
Make these higher in intensity: running, cone drill sprints are easy to set up. Or use weight vest while mom holds dumbbells and do some squats every 20 steps,
And don't forget to reevaluate your food. An active dog (and human) needs more quality nutrition and can't get away with eating junk and fillers.
PS- are you doing the virtual Mutt-a-thon today at petsmove.org?
