OMG- I'm a bitch!

Hey pups! Just to let you know why there hasn't been recent posts and won't be for a bit because I AM STARTING MY FIRST SEASON!

Dina Mom: This probably does not apply to most of you but I please ask you not to leave comments saying that Dina should have been spayed. I and the rest of the family have talked and thought about this. So no hurtful, mean or rude comments please. However, helpful comments and good advice is always welcome!

Your fully matured bitch,
Dina

  1. You look lovely in that photo. I have no advise, as a boy dog and my boyness taken away and being that my MOM has mainly had boy dogs, we are clueless. Wishing you all the best. And to the haters out there, back off...Grrrrr.

  2. No worries! My sissy Phoenix is currently in her first heat, but she will be spayed 3 weeks after it's over (not sure what your plans are, sorry!)

  3. We would give you advice if we had any but we are boy dogs. Your parents just need to do what they feel is best. We just hope you don't get pms Bol!We don't know what that is, mom just said it.

  4. Neither of DK's roommate's dogs are spayed. They get frisky with my Beamer's head (they hump it) and he doesn't like it. She said that her dogs are good about cleaning themselves up, but I have stepped in icky puddles a few times. Whatever though. Different strokes for different folks. You look adorable in that picture.

  5. Ours are spayed so we cannot give any advice. Have a serene Sunday and stay cool.

  6. Lots of recent research shows that spaying isn't necessarily the best thing. Read Pukka' Promise by Ted Kerasote - he did lots of research into it. OR see this from Dr. Becker at Mercola http://healthypets.mercola.com/sites/healthypets/archive/2013/04/10/early-spaying.aspx Don't 2nd guess yourself or let others judge!

  7. Well we went through the dreaded heat with Maggie and hers lasted 4 long weeks, mom said she washed alot of blankets during that time. She tried doggy diapers but i kept tearing them off of hers, at first maggie acted like she didn't feel good, then she was okay, but it was pretty icky....mom had an appt. made at the vet but she came into heat first, she was only just 6 months old, as soon as she was done, mom made the decision to take her and get it taken care of. She has done fine since the surgery. We read the different info alo, and thought alot about our decision.
