Welcome Autumn! (or 'fall' for my American readers!)

Hey pups! So it is definitely not summer any more. The temperatures are down to 10-15 degrees Celsius, nights are colder, we had a most fantastic mist/fog this morning, some trees are beginning to go a little orange (though most are staying a persistent green) and of course my birthday has come and gone (Dina Mom: Still not used to the thought that my little baby is one!). I'll try to keep this post positive and not mention the rain, the mud, the shorter days, and the definite increase of towels around to dry my paws after walks (DM: or the nearing Bonfire Night- I don't know how she will react to the fireworks...)! Instead, let's think of all the good stuff: it's a lead up to Christmas, my Gotcha Day is coming up (19th October), all the leaves to have fun in and, during early autumn, the temperatures making for cooler hikes.

What are you looking forward to about autumn? Or are you dreading it?

Licks and Wags,
Dina

  1. We love Autumn! It has been a hot miserable summer and the cooler days mean we have more energy to run and play. Me and Stanley even like the snow! When it gets very cool, almost cold, then our pawrents let us go EVERYWHERE with them. But when it is warmer they do not cuz it is NOT safe to wait for them in the car. Also, when it is cooler we do not have to get up really early to go running. Me and Stanley like to sleep in. And of course when it is cooler we can cuddle more!

    Your Pals,

    Murphy & Stanley

  5. Dina, you don't look a day past 6 months ;)

We're looking forward to longer walks. Beamer overheats in the summer, so our walks are cut short.
